DMCA and Copyright Policy
LotterySombad respects intellectual property rights. This page explains how a copyright owner or authorized representative can report material that they believe infringes copyright, and how we may respond to a sufficiently detailed notice. This policy is intended as a practical website procedure and is not legal advice.
Our own content and third-party material
LotterySombad publishes original website design, explanatory text, archive interfaces, and software functionality. Result PDFs, lottery names, trademarks, logos, screenshots, source documents, videos, and other third-party material can be owned by their respective rights holders. Where third-party result information is provided through an API or linked source, applicable license and attribution requirements should be respected.
Reporting alleged infringement
If you believe material available through LotterySombad infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to enforce, send a notice through our Contact Us page. Clearly identify the message as a copyright or DMCA request so it can be routed appropriately.
Information to include
A useful infringement notice should include enough information for us to identify the claim and the material. Where applicable, include:
- Your full name and contact information.
- Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
- The exact LotterySombad URL where the material appears.
- A description of the material you want reviewed.
- A statement explaining why you believe the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
- An electronic or physical signature where required.
Incomplete notices
If a notice does not identify the material or provide enough information to understand the claim, we may request clarification before taking action. Sending a vague statement such as “remove my content” without identifying the work and URL can delay review.
Our review process
When we receive a credible notice, we may review the page, source, context, license information, and the nature of the material. Depending on the circumstances, we may remove material, disable access, replace an embed with a link, update attribution, request additional information, or determine that no immediate change is warranted.
Result PDFs and source documents
Lottery result documents can originate from public authorities or authorized data services. The fact that a document is publicly accessible does not automatically determine every copyright question. We therefore preserve source information where possible and can remove or replace a file or embed when a valid rights issue is established.
API and attribution
Where content is obtained through a third-party API, LotterySombad follows the provider’s applicable license requirements. The Sambad API, for example, requires visible attribution for API users. A copyright notice should not be used to demand removal of attribution that the website is contractually required to display unless the complainant has a legal basis for that request.
Counter-notification
If material is removed following a copyright complaint and you believe the removal occurred because of mistake or misidentification, you may contact us with a counter-notification containing the information required by applicable law. We may provide the counter-notification to the original complainant where legally appropriate.
Repeat infringement
LotterySombad does not operate general public user accounts for uploading arbitrary copyrighted files. If user-submitted features are added in the future, we may adopt additional procedures for repeat infringers and account restrictions.
Misrepresentations
Do not knowingly submit a false copyright claim, falsely claim ownership, or misrepresent your authority to act for a rights holder. Legal consequences may apply to material misrepresentations under applicable law.
Trademarks and other rights
This policy is primarily about copyright. Trademark, privacy, defamation, or other legal concerns can require different information and legal analysis. If your complaint concerns a different right, clearly explain the nature of the issue when contacting us.
No waiver
Nothing in this policy is intended to waive any legal right, defense, limitation, safe harbor, exception, or remedy available to LotterySombad or any rights holder.
Contact
Submit copyright concerns through the Contact Us page. Include the exact URL and enough detail to allow an efficient review. Do not send passwords or unrelated confidential information.
Preservation of records
When a complaint is received, we may preserve a limited internal record of the notice, the page involved, the action taken, and relevant correspondence. This can help demonstrate how a complaint was handled, prevent repeated misunderstandings, and respond to later legal questions. Preservation of a notice does not mean the complaint was accepted as legally correct.
Links versus hosted copies
A copyright concern can differ depending on whether LotterySombad hosts a copy of a file or merely links to a third-party location. If a complaint concerns an external page or file that we do not control, we may remove or change our link where appropriate, but we cannot delete material from another party’s server. The complainant may also need to contact the host or publisher of the original material.
Fair use, exceptions, and public records
Copyright law can contain exceptions and limitations, and some government or public records may be treated differently depending on jurisdiction. LotterySombad does not assume that every request to remove a publicly available document is automatically valid. Where necessary, we may seek clarification or legal advice before acting.
Processing time
Copyright complaints can require review of ownership, URLs, source history, license conditions, and the difference between hosted material and an external link. We aim to review clear complaints reasonably promptly, but we do not guarantee immediate removal simply because a notice was submitted. Urgent legal deadlines should be clearly identified and supported.
Good-faith communication
We encourage rights holders and publishers to contact us in good faith before escalating a routine attribution or linking issue. Clear communication can often resolve a mistaken URL, missing credit, or outdated embed quickly while preserving legitimate access to public result information.
Policy updates
This copyright procedure can be updated when the website changes, when new upload or media features are introduced, or when legal and hosting requirements change. The version published on this page is the procedure visitors and rights holders should use at the time of a complaint.
